Welcome to the August 2008 State of Bahaikipedia report! On the Main Page there is a 'news' section and this month has found the best use of it, there are many exciting developments to report, some as a result of the software upgrade, and others from the culmination of work taking place over a long period of time. Most notably of these was the completion of adding the full text of Lights of Guidance on English BahaikiText. Next on en.bahaikitext was the upgrade of paragraph numbers for all the text on the site to a new format that turns every paragraph number into a link.
Now back to Bahaikipedia, for those interested in geography we've begun to add wikipedia's coordinate system to the English encyclopedia. See the top right of this article for an example.
On the Chinese Bahaikipedia we have Alicia to thank for the expansion of that project from just a handful of articles to about 49. Undoubtedly she will be the reason the Chinese encyclopedia will be as successful as the English, giving it a solid foundation for others to build on, thank you!
