From Bahaikipedia
The Commons directory plays a central role in the Bahaikipedia projects as it allows an image to be uploaded and tagged once and then used in all the Bahaiki projects. In addition as others start new language versions of Bahaikipedia they will have access to a library of images that relate to the Bahá'í Faith to help them.
For the casual user the Commons directory provides a great 'at a glance' view of images that relate to the Bahá'í Faith, sorted by location, type of image, or relationship to the Faith.
Currently the Commons directory has over 639 different media files available for use in the Bahaikipedia projects.
